Alberto and Diego Giacometti are brothers. This small sculpture features an owl, a recurring motif for Diego. The nocturnal bird, now endangered, has symbolized wisdom since antiquity. Diego Giacometti also designs furniture (tables, seats, consoles) that resemble real sculptures.
